Why Employers Choose Direct Primary Care
Good Health Direct Primary Care and Wellness gives small employers a way to offer a meaningful healthcare benefit without the complexity and unpredictable per-visit costs of the traditional fee-for-service model. Each enrolled employee receives ongoing access to comprehensive primary care for one predictable monthly membership fee.
Better Access to Healthcare
Many traditional clinics may have appointment waits of a week or longer. When employees cannot get timely care, they may delay treatment, spend hours in urgent care or the emergency room, or miss additional work while symptoms worsen. Our smaller patient panel allows us to offer same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible.
• Earlier evaluation of acute illness and minor injuries
• Less time spent waiting for routine primary care
• Faster follow-up and return-to-work guidance when appropriate
• Telephone, video, secure text, and secure email communication when clinically appropriate
Care designed to keep employees healthier
Direct Primary Care is not limited to sick visits. Membership supports an ongoing relationship with a provider who has time to understand each patient, manage chronic conditions, address risk factors, and focus on preventive wellness. Better continuity of care can help employees manage health concerns before they become more disruptive.
Fewer patients. More time. Better access.
Our provider will care for fewer than 600 patients, compared with the 1,500 or more patients commonly assigned to providers in traditional fee-for-service practices.
What Employee Membership Includes
Primary and Preventative Care
Annual wellness examinations, age-appropriate preventive care, health-risk review, and personalized wellness planning.
Acute illness visits
Evaluation and treatment of common illnesses and minor injuries, with same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible.
Chronic-condition
management
Ongoing follow-up for conditions such as high blood pressure, diabetes, asthma, thyroid disorders, and other long-term health concerns.
Convenient communication
In-person visits plus telephone, video, secure text, or secure email communication when appropriate for the concern.
Minor office procedures
Many common in-office procedures are included. Patients pay only the clinic cost of medications or supplies when those are needed.
Care coordination
Medication management, referrals, and coordination with imaging centers, laboratories, specialists, and hospitals when outside care is necessary.
DOT PHYSICALS INCLUDED FOR ENROLLED CDL EMPLOYEES
DOT medical examinations are included for enrolled employees who hold commercial driver licenses, subject to federal examination requirements. This can be especially valuable for trucking, delivery, construction, utility, and service companies that need to keep certifications current while minimizing time away from work.
Discounted services beyond primary care
The following services are not included in the monthly membership fee, but enrolled employees receive discounted member pricing when treatment is medically appropriate:
Flexible plans for small employers
We offer increasing membership discounts as more employees enroll. Employer-sponsored business accounts also receive the following advantages:
- Registration fees are waived for employees enrolled through the business account.
- Volume-based discounts increase as participation grows.
- Employee family members may join at discounted business-account rates.
- DOT physicals are included for enrolled CDL employees.
- Discounted member pricing is available for eligible wellness and recovery services.
Why family access matters
Family health concerns can affect attendance, focus, and peace of mind. Giving employees the option to enroll spouses, partners, and dependent children at discounted rates helps extend convenient primary care access to the household, subject to the terms of the employer plan.
