How is DPC different from traditional HEalthcare?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based approach to primary care. Instead of paying for every appointment, message, or phone call, members pay one predictable monthly fee for ongoing access to their provider.
Traditional Fee-for-Service Care
- The clinic is paid each time a patient has a billable visit or service.
- Providers may care for more than 1,500 patients, which can lead to rushed visits and limited availability.
- Care is often organized around short, billable
appointments.
Good Health Direct Primary Care
- You pay one monthly membership fee for ongoing access to primary care.
- Our provider panel is limited to fewer than 600 patients, creating more time and better
access. - Care can be delivered in person or through telephone, video, secure text, or secure email when medically appropriate.
More Time. Better Access. Truly Individualized Care.
Because our provider cares for a much smaller patient panel, appointments can be
longer and less rushed. This creates time to understand your health history, answer
questions, discuss your goals, and develop a care plan designed around you - not
around a billing code.
Members also benefit from improved access, including same-day or next-day
appointments when available.
Family & Individual Plans and Pricing
Schedule a 15-minute visit so we can meet, learn more about you, and see if our approach to care is the right fit for you and your family.
Direct Primary Care may be especially valuable for self-employed individuals and families seeking predictable primary care costs or that have high-deductible health plans, and small businesses that want to improve employee access to care.
For Business owners: Special membership pricing is available for businesses enrolling three or more employees. Please visit our separate Business Memberships page for details.

What Does the Monthly Membership Include?
- Unlimited primary care visits with your provider

- Telephone and video visits when appropriate
- Secure text, email, or portal communication
- Preventive care, acute care, and chronic-condition management
- Minor office procedures, including services such as sutures and joint injections
For covered procedures, there is no additional provider fee. Members are responsible only for the clinic's at-cost price of any medication or disposable supplies needed to complete the procedure.
What Can be addressed in our office?
Primary care can address most of the healthcare needs people experience throughout the year. We estimate that approximately 85% to 95% of routine healthcare needs can be managed in our office, depending on the individual and the care required.
- Preventive care and routine physicals
- Diabetes, high blood pressure, and other
chronic conditions - Women's, men's, pediatric, and adolescent primary care
- Minor procedures and care coordination
- Acute illness and minor injuries
- Medication management
- Mental-health support within the scope of primary care
For covered procedures, there is no additional provider fee. Members are responsible only for the clinic's at-cost price of any medication or disposable supplies needed to complete the procedure.
Is Direct Primary Care a Replacement for Health Insurance?
No. Direct Primary Care is not health insurance and does not replace insurance coverage. Membership does not pay for hospitalizations, emergency-room care, surgery, specialist visits, or other services performed outside our clinic.
We encourage members to maintain health insurance, a high-deductible plan, or another appropriate form of major-medical coverage for unexpected and high-cost care. If you need help exploring catastrophic coverage, we can help connect you with resources.
What about Labs and Imaging?
We have partnered with Labcorp and can draw many ordered laboratory tests right in our office. Laboratory testing and imaging are not included in the monthly membership fee. Members with health insurance may choose to have these services billed through their insurance plan. For uninsured or self-pay patients, we can help identify lower-cost cash-pay options when laboratory testing or imaging is necessary.
Beyond Primary Care: Additional Wellness Services
Good Health Direct Primary Care and Wellness also offers additional services designed to support health, pain management, mobility, recovery, and quality of life. These services are separate from the DPC membership, but members receive discounted pricing.
